Is the Cloth Diapering Trend Really Convenient?

Parents and manufacturers weigh in on the pros and cons

If you consider yourself an "eco-friendly" parent, chances are you've heard of the practice of using cloth diapers in place of the regular, throw-away kind. 

In an article from The News Minute, parents and manufacturers got to weigh in on the pros and cons of cloth diapers. 

One side of the argument for using cloth diapers states the ecological benefit of using them. The ability to wash and reuse diapers has the clear advantage of being more affordable and gentler on the environment.  

The other side of the argument, of course, is whether or not the hassle involved with cloth diapers is really worth the effort, or even convenient at all for most parents.

One thing is for certain, the owners of cloth diapering companies have a big challenge ahead of them.

Gaining visibility in the market and convincing parents that the benefits outweigh the inconveniences may prove to be difficult, but they aren't going anywhere.
