7 Easy and Delicious Homemade Stage 3 Baby Food Recipes

These recipes are sure to make both mom and baby happy.

Up until your baby reached 8 to 10 months of age, your options for baby food consisted mostly of thin or thick purées. Now that your child is a little older and has mastered his or her hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity and swallowing skills, he or she can move on to both finger foods and chunky baby food.

Transitioning to Stage 3 baby food will open your child up to a world of possibilities and will offer your little munchkin the chance to have a little more independence at mealtime.

One word of caution though, even though your baby can eat finger foods now, make sure you don't feed your child any foods that could potentially cause choking, such as hot dogs, whole nuts, whole grapes, raw baby carrots, hard candies, or any other hard foods that could get lodged in your child's throat. Food should still be soft and cut up into small pieces.

To make the transition to Stage 3 baby food a little easier on you, we've compiled a list of seven easy and delicious Stage 3 baby food recipes that are sure to make both you and your baby happy.
