Romaine Lettuce Recall: Throw it Out NOW!

This popular vegetable could be toxic to your family.

If you haven't heard, the CDC has issued a romaine lettuce recall. 

What does that mean for you? 

If you have romaine lettuce in your fridge, throw it out now!

This week, the CDC published a Food Safety Alert warning that an E.coli outbreak was linked to romaine lettuce.

23 states have been affected thus far, so it's not worth taking any chances regardless of where you live. If you've been out to eat this week, you'll also notice restaurant chains and grocery stores have stopped selling romaine lettuce as well.

Guess it's time to embrace spinach and kale!
